We do not know much about this lovely little Methodist Chapel that is now located on the grounds of Magnolia Manor near Moultrie. Apparently the church was organized in 1860 in the little community of Magnolia, now known as Pebble city, in Mitchell County. The structure you see above was built in 1882, and was named Magnolia Church. The little Chapel then became Pebble City Methodist from 1915 to 1994, when it was moved to its present location and lovingly restored. The architecture is both simple and elegant for a mid 18th century sanctuary, and the interior reflects that. The Chapel is now known as Antioch Methodist and serves the residents of Magnolia Manor.
